1. In the Google Cloud Console, navigate to “Groups” tab and click on “Create Group”.
2. Fill in your group’s details and information. Take note that Group Name and Group Email is required, the other information regarding your group is set as optional. You can set these optional details at a later time. Once you’re done, click on Next.
3. In this part, you would have to configure a few simple settings for your group. For the access type (in the red box), you have the option to choose the access type for the group. Think of it as a configuration template for your group where each option gives you a specific setting. Do take note that you can also customize your group with the level of access you would need. Continue on with choosing the access settings and the people who can join the group. You can also allow members outside your organization to join this group. Once you’re done, click Next.
4. Now, you would have to set the security settings for your group. This setting is mostly used to have a custom rule for your group if you do not want users to join this group. There will be conditions that you would have to set in regards to your needs. Then, click Create Group.
Note : It will take up to 24 hours for your group to appear under the Groups table.
